Reflection 1

I unfortunately I haven’t had the time to go out to the store and buy the materials for my genius project but instead I did my research and watched several videos on woodwork with resin so here are some steps for making a resin table 🙂

Step 1

Plan what design your going to do or what type of centrepiece your gonna do and choose which colour the resin is going to be, and choose your materials.

Step 2

Get your materials / look up where you get your materials choose carefully and always get more than 1 because you never know when you mess up!

Step 3

Prep your epoxy or resin and dye it the colour you want it and make sure you mix it thoroughly leaving no clumps or random streaks in your resin/epoxy.

Step 4

prep your piece of wood or marble or what your using and for the resin / epoxy onto the pies of wood and let it sit and wait for it to dry and make sure you put it in all the places where you want it, also make sure you heat the resin/epoxy and get all the air bubbles out.

Step 5

Once it all drys take your finished piece out of the molding and start sanding it down then apply water over to clean of the sanded of pieces.

Step 6

add the rest of materials depending what you make such as a table then add the legs or a frames then add strings.
